These Guys Want You to Join me at the RAPS Gala
It's been quite a while since a post so I'm back with an announcement. For those of you who have seen my previous posts on RAPS this is what it's all been leading up to. The Richmond Animal Protection Society (RAPS) is holding their first ever fundraising Gala on November 17th and tickets are now available for sale online. The event will be MC'd by CTV's Norma Reid and will feature live music, live and silent auctions, dancing and of course a tasty meal.
For those of you who aren't familiar with RAPS, they are a no-kill shelter that Katherine and I have adopted three cats from and volunteer at every week. It's rare to find an organization as honest and pure intentioned as RAPS where they spend their efforts, money and time solely towards the care of neglected, abused and abandoned animals.
Tickets to the event are $100 and a $50 tax receipt will be issued for each ticket. Alternatively, raffle tickets are also available for $5. If you're interested in attending, you can either contact me or visit the RAPS site directly at www.rapsociety.com/gala.
