Playing with Light

Another day of sun means another adventure in nature. When you enter Cypress Falls you feel like you've entered a magical forest. It's hard to explain but you're essentially under a canopy of trees in a very "3D" terrain. The paths aren't as obvious as most hikes and they go up down and every which way.

For me, it's all about when the sun pokes through that canopy to get some truly beautiful lighting. The steam you see in some of the photos (most notably in the close up of the tree bark below) was slowly seeping from the trees exposed to the sun. It was a very peaceful moment I was trying to capture.
